10 Can't-Miss Restaurants

It's not true you can't get a good meal in Belize. While the country has no five-star restaurants, you can enjoy excellent seafood at many spots, and sometimes nothing tastes better than a big plate of rice and beans. This list, which is in alphabetical order, does not include resort or jungle lodge restaurants which cater primarily to guests. Some of these, such as the restaurants at Blancaneaux and Jaguar Paw, are excellent. In Belize, as elsewhere, restaurants can change overnight, so always ask locally.
